Meet the Team
Simon graduated from Cape Town University in 1974 with an Economics degree, having done Law in Zimbabwe. Simon moved to the UK and joined Carnegie where he set up and ran one of the most successful practices outside the USA. He set up the Wilsher Group in 1990 and has worked with organisations such as Virgin, BT, Cambridge University Press, M&S, Barclaycard, IBM, EMC, KPMG, Microsoft, Monitise and Novia. Simon set up C-me Colour Profiling, initially within the Wilsher Group, as he was determined to develop an accurate system from which clients could derive full value, and which flexed to their needs.
Simon was until recently chairman of Governors at Monkton Combe School and chairs two other organisations. He lives in Bath with his wife and has three children. Recreational activities include sport, especially tennis, and travel – mainly to Africa. He doesn’t do DIY. He does do church and cooking.
Sonia studied at Cambridge University, gaining a Starred Double First in Anthropology and Theology. Her interest in communication led her first to television programme making, including for the South Bank Show, an award winning multi-faith programme and a presenting slot on ITV’s Sunday Morning.
Choosing to communicate with and for slightly smaller audiences, Sonia moved into training and professional development, including training and leading Macmillan’s helpline team. This led ultimately to two consecutive roles as Chief Executive of National Charities. Here she launched a national awareness week, rebranded, negotiated with NHS Trusts and doubled income and supporter base within three years. Seeing the impact that clear communication of vision had, Sonia sought to enable this for others as a consultant and coach.
Looking for a tool that grew strong teams and enabled good communication drew Sonia to C-me. Sonia is passionate about people knowing and using their strengths, and communicating effectively with others.
Sonia lives in Bristol with her husband Oliver and their children Seth, Micah and Isla.
Jayne provides day to day support for the organisations using our profiling system. She is the member of the team most frequently office based, so if you pick up the phone to us, she is a good first port of call.
